Free Public Lecture on Standing Rock

Panel discussion at Florida International University (FIU) will be held next Monday, 13 February, from 6pm to 8pm about Standing Rock Indigenous ways forward. FIU will host honored guests from the Standing Rock resistance Manape LaMere and Faith Spotted Eagle, as well as honored guests from Florida's Indigenous community Bobby C. Billie and Betty Osceola.

The panel will encourage FIU students and greater community to engage with Indigenous Leaders and Activists on timely and important topics surrounding Standing Rock and Trump's order to move on pipeline drilling and project completion under the Missouri River.
